As some of you might have guessed from the material in our books, most of the Kosmic Crew are martial artists... so this next bit of news is for all our martial arts inclined audience...

Recently Kirk and Hugh had the opportunity to train with the “Guiding Force” of the Dog Brothers and Founder/Head Instructor of Dog Brothers Martial Arts Guro Marc “Crafty Dog” Denny in a two day seminar, he conducted at CrossFit Toronto in the T Dot O (Toronto). The seminar consist of a well rounded overview of DBMA including stickfighting, self-defense, knife defense (the "Die Less Often" material) and the extremely popular “Kali-Tudo™” which is the DBMA's injection of Kali Silat into MMA/NHB fighting while minimizing ring sport techniques that are unsound for 360 degree street applications.

Here’s a little info about Guro Marc “Crafty Dog” Denny... Guro Crafty has bred a martial art that blends an extremely effective combo of the Filipino Martial Arts with other arts such as Muay Thai / Krabi-Krabong, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Silat, along with many other various systems which has given (DBMA) the ability to be applicable to any and all martial artists dedicated to empty hand fighting and/or weapons fighting. The Dog Brothers are well known for their "Real Contact Stickfighting." Alpha Kosmic will also launch a line of children’s graphic novels. Kosmic Comics is pleased to announce that in association with children’s book publisher, Kool Press, we will be the exclusive producer as well as co-publisher of the graphic novel version of K.D. Patrick’s popular debut storybook “Tiesha in The Land of Faraway.”

This will be an ongoing co-publishing partnership. As each new book Tiesha Faraway series is released by Kool Press, Alpha Kosmic will in turn produce and co-publish the graphically novelized version of each book.
